Domain Registration & Transfer Policy
Rules and guidelines for domain registration, renewal, transfer, ownership and management.
This Domain Registration & Transfer Policy explains the general terms and procedures applicable to domain names registered, transferred, renewed or managed through NaamX at naamx.com.
Domain names are subject to the rules and policies of the applicable domain registry, registrar and other governing organizations. Customers are responsible for complying with those requirements.
1. Domain Registration
Customers may register eligible domain names through NaamX subject to availability, registry requirements, applicable pricing and successful payment.
Registration of a domain name does not guarantee permanent ownership. Domain names are generally registered for a specified period and must be renewed before expiration.
2. Domain Availability
A domain shown as available during a search is not considered registered until the registration process has been successfully completed.
Domain availability may change at any time before registration is completed.
3. Domain Registration Information
Customers must provide accurate, complete and current information when registering a domain.
This may include the registrant's name, organization, address, telephone number and email address where required.
4. Accuracy of Information
Customers are responsible for maintaining accurate domain registration information throughout the registration period.
Incorrect, incomplete or outdated information may result in verification requests, suspension or cancellation of a domain where permitted by applicable registry rules.
5. Domain Ownership
The person or organization identified as the registrant in the applicable registration record may be considered the domain holder, subject to registry rules and applicable law.
Customers should ensure that the registration information accurately identifies the intended domain owner.
6. Domain Renewal
Domains must be renewed before their expiration date to maintain continuous registration.
Customers are responsible for monitoring domain expiration dates and ensuring that renewal payments are completed on time.
7. Automatic Renewal
Where automatic renewal is available and enabled, NaamX may attempt to renew the domain using the customer's selected payment method.
Automatic renewal may fail if payment information is invalid, insufficient funds are available or the payment provider declines the transaction.
8. Expired Domains
An expired domain may become inactive or enter a renewal, grace, redemption or other status according to the applicable registry and registrar policies.
Additional fees may apply when attempting to recover an expired domain.
9. Domain Redemption
Some expired domains may enter a redemption period during which restoration may be possible subject to registry rules and additional charges.
Restoration is not guaranteed and depends on the status of the domain and the applicable registry.
10. Domain Transfer to NaamX
Customers may request transfer of eligible domains to NaamX.
A domain transfer may require an authorization code, unlocked domain status, valid registrant information and confirmation through the applicable transfer process.
11. Transfer Authorization Code
Depending on the domain extension, an authorization code (also known as an EPP or transfer code) may be required to initiate a transfer.
Customers are responsible for obtaining the correct authorization code from their current registrar when required.
12. Transfer Restrictions
A domain may not be eligible for transfer in certain circumstances, including where the domain is locked, recently registered, recently transferred or subject to a registry restriction.
Specific transfer restrictions depend on the applicable domain extension and registry rules.
13. Transfer Approval
Some domain transfers require approval by the registrant or an administrative contact.
Customers should promptly respond to legitimate transfer confirmation requests to avoid unnecessary delays.
14. Transfer From NaamX
Customers may request to transfer eligible domains from NaamX to another registrar, subject to applicable registry requirements, account status and transfer rules.
Any outstanding balance or unresolved account issue may need to be addressed before a transfer can be completed where permitted by applicable rules.
15. Domain Lock
Domain locking is a security feature designed to help prevent unauthorized transfers.
Customers should keep domain transfer locks enabled unless they are intentionally preparing a domain for transfer.
16. WHOIS & Registration Data
Depending on the domain extension and applicable registry rules, certain registration information may be subject to public or restricted availability.
Privacy and disclosure practices may vary according to applicable laws, registry requirements and the domain extension.
17. Domain Privacy
Where domain privacy or proxy services are available, their use is subject to the rules of the applicable registrar and registry.
Certain information may still be disclosed when required by law, court order, registry policy or legitimate dispute procedures.
18. Prohibited Domain Use
Domains registered or managed through NaamX must not be used for unlawful, fraudulent, malicious or abusive activities.
- Phishing and credential theft
- Fraudulent websites
- Malware distribution
- Identity impersonation
- Illegal activities
- Spam and abusive messaging
- Copyright or trademark infringement

19. Trademark & Intellectual Property
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their domain name and associated content do not unlawfully violate another party's trademark, copyright or other intellectual property rights.
20. Domain Disputes
Domain disputes may be governed by applicable registry policies, dispute-resolution procedures and applicable laws.
NaamX may be required to comply with decisions, orders or instructions issued by competent authorities, registries or dispute resolution organizations.
21. Suspension or Cancellation
A domain may be suspended, locked, cancelled or otherwise restricted where required by applicable registry rules, legal requirements, security concerns, non-payment or violation of applicable policies.
22. Domain Fees
Domain registration, renewal, transfer, restoration and other domain-related services may have separate fees.
Applicable pricing will be displayed during the relevant order or renewal process where possible.
